By John Rittenoure - ENID, Okla. (January 25, 2021) - A 12 race schedule is on tap for Enid Speedway in 2021 according to the schedule that has been released by speedway officials.
Practice sessions will be held in the afternoons of March 7, 14 and 21. Opening night is April 3 with Sooner Late Models, A Modifieds, Sport Mods, Hot Shots and Factory Stocks, previously known as Pure Stocks, on the program. The Pure Stock division has been renamed for 2021.
Additional shows are slated for April 24, May 1, June 5, June 26 (plus Fireworks), July 31, August 7, September 11 (Garfield County Fair Race), October 1-2 (Winter Nationals), October 29-30 (Factory Stock Nationals).
New this year will be the debut of the Sooner Sprint Series. The winged sprint class will alternate with the Sooner Late Model Series throughout the season.
Gates will open this year at 4 p.m. with racing at 7:30.
